Short Mid-Week Evening Trip

To take advantage of a small window in the weather we sneaked out for 2.5hrs on Tuesday...the wind was still showing touch and go on the forecast but we made the decision to go for it last minute!
The fishing was pretty slow until the last trickle of tide when I snuck out a nice looking cod of 13lb.

I quickly followed this up with another suspect cod that actually materialised at the surface in the shape of another nice Bullhuss....

Dave added a smaller huss and I finished up with a bonus bass before we went in at slack tide around 9:15.

Mike stayed out for some of the flood tide and was rewarded with a cod of 15lb....we are certainly in full swing now!
