Inevitable....

A small weather window presented itself Yesterday for a trip this morning to have another crack at the cod. I was really looking forward to getting out again and getting a cod or two under the belt this year. It was only when I got home from work Yesterday that I was reminded of a family photo shoot booked up for the late morning....FFS - what a kick in the nuts!
Dave replaced me with Mike and as I sat at home with a lip like bubba this morning, I knew they would find some.....
The Inevitable:
The first call came through as I was walking the dogs;
"thought you might like to know, Mike's just had one of 16lb 8oz....bit slow but we are gona have a move for the ebb

The next call came a couple of hours later......
" Had another two cod, 8lb and 17lb 8oz. Fishing really well with a few eels and a dropped Bullhuss at the back of the boat"

I was pleased Dave and Mike had found some fish but gutted I had missed out......these family photos better be bloody good!
