Cod Still Around

Why is it more so often than not that if you have a 'non fishing' related commitment you are tied to - the weather window falls at precisely the same time? True to form the same age old scenario presented itself this weekend. Perfect weather, nice little tide and as I couldn't make it, it was bound to fish well!
Given the time of year and going on our recent trips, Dave and Mike had a sensational afternoon boating no less than 4 cod between them. All low doubles and in excellent condition..... I gather Mike just manage to avoid some serious whoop ass by finding one fish to Dave's three!

I just hope the weather plays ball and they stay around for at least another couple of weeks so I can have a go at a 2012 cod!
