Plaice and Rays

Dave and I decided to have a bash at the plaice today as the weather and tides were spot on. Before we hit the plaice we sat on a bank for a while waiting for the tide to drop a notch or two. We had a few small blondes, a bass and just as we were thinking of a move I had a beautiful big blonde on the updider........not a personal best but at 21lb, a cracking fish all the same!

Shortly after we went to look for a plaice or two and thankfully we weren't disappointed! Half a dozen specimen sized fish with the best falling to me at 5lb 6oz.

Good fishing in good company and a very enjoyable morning!
