Fishing on Fathers Day!

Well it would have been rude not to!
A day off from the duties of Fatherhood saw both Dave and I escaping our families for a bit of early morning peace and quiet. Fishing was slow with a couple of pan sized bass, and the usual ever obliging dogfish. The highlight for me though was a lovely turbot that took a liking to a whole side of mackerel fished uptide. It went down very well, cooked in tin foil with garlic butter and really made the day a special one!

Happy Fathers Day!
