Early Morning Plugging

An early one with Ian this morning chasing bass with plugs and soft lures. Conditions were great and from the moment we got out we were on the fish. They were hitting white bait on the surface and we followed them for a good two hours. Most fish were between 1lb and 2lb with a few mackerel and gars thrown in too. I did manage to pull out two bass around the 4lb mark and these gave a great account of them selves on the light set up with the drag singing and the rod bent full circle. I love this kind of fishing and I think next time I will have to have a go with the fly...
