Summer Plaice

Another invite from Dale in the week had me primed for a short trip, fishing over the perfect state of tide today. In preparation I had dug 2lb of prime, huge ragworm (my theory on worm: the bigger - the better!) and made up a dozen dazzling 12" traces.
The weather was perfect but the fishing was slow, probably owing to the amount of netting that has gone on here this year :-/ Still, we made the best of a bad situation and shared a couple of fish each. I was made up with the best one of the session at 5lb 10oz.

Another cracking day Dale, you never fail to deliver!
