Couple of Hours in Shore

The weather this month has been really crap and this evenings forecast wasn't exactly brilliant but we needed to get out!
Tucked away in shore we tried our best to find a cod but spent the night being beat up by eels and unhooking pout! I was under instruction to keep a few pout for the dog so I was heading and gutting mine too. The congers seemed to be loving the free heads that were drifting down tide and this one looked like he had had his fair share of them!


The only other fish of note for the evening was a nice blonde ray for Dave going 17lb.



Still beats a night in for a change and fingers crossed this weather sorts itself out.
