River Medina Flounder

I found myself at a loose end today with free time on my hands and a lb of worm sat in the fridge.
" Jake, do you fancy a bit of fishing mate"
So he fetched his rod, I grabbed the worm and off we went. He busied himself for the next couple of hours catching small school bass one after the other while I was consigned to baiting his hook for him every 5 minutes. I didn't fish myself, just sat backed and watched him get on with it.
While he was running around playing the fool, I noticed hid rod tip give a couple of slow pulls then sit back and stay there. I gave it 5 minutes before suggesting to Jake he might want to check his bait.
Sure enough a lively little flounder came gliding though the shallows just behind his weight. He was well chuffed with his flattie and had to have a picture of it to show Mum!

He was happy to slip it back after the photo but insisted we went back sooner rather than later so he could show off his picture at home!
