East Cowes Sole

A real windy night tonight, meaning a no go for the boat and with the direction of the wind - limited shore venues. We had a few worm and with a sole on the cards we opted for the shelter of East Cowes front.
On turning up it appeared that many were thinking the same but we managed to find a good gap in the crowd and fired out a few baits.
The fishing was quite hectic for the most of the evening with small school bass, smoothounds and a few large silver eels. In the end though, we did manage to winkle out a sole. Only a slip but a sole none the less!

A nice easy - no fuss venue and a few fish thrown in.
