December Round Up

Well the Cod fishing certainly slowed up as we went into December. Couple that with some mad weather, hurricane force winds and torrential rain - doesn't leave much to report!
We managed to get out in between for an hour or two here and there when there were some very small weather windows that allowed it. Plenty of congers still on the ground but much slower on the cod. Rather than hoping for several fish a trip, we were now fishing hard for one - if we were lucky!
Dave got his mojo back this month and managed to find that one fish on each trip bringing us up level by the time the year was out.
It's been a bad one for the weather this year with virtually the whole of October and most of December written off due to high winds - I'm not too bothered though, we have a week in Norway to smash a load of them this coming July!!!
Here are a few pics to round off 2013:

Lets hope 2014 has some better weather in store for us....Looking forward to the bream and plaice!
