Another Day at the Blocks

Well I had promised Dan a trip out to have a go at the plaice so that is what we did today. As I was out yesterday with Dave too, it took a little persuasion beforehand to get my double day pass with my beautiful and fully understanding missus!
Lovely weather today and 1 tenth of the boats counted compared to Yesterday. The fishing was much the same but sharing 8 all told, the average size was down on the better fish we had yesterday.
Dan was first off the mark with one of the better fish of the day.......good man!

and then followed up with another....

Without a fish to my name it was time to get the trusty burgers on the go - genuine bite inducer. True to form I managed a small one as soon as the aroma wafted down tide!

Then Dan and I had 2 more each in the space of 10 minutes!

Burgers finally down and all went quiet again until last knockings when I managed another small one.

Anchor up and we flew back to base.......lovely day out there and pleased I could find Dan a few fish.
