Wrecking For Pollack - Shogun

Out with Rob again today mid channel wrecking for Pollack.
Thankfully we had glorious weather and some good fishing too. Everyone shared in a few pollack from 5 to 14lb through out the day. We had put a few live mackerel in the tank on the way out and Rob suggested these would find the better fish. Not needing to be told twice, both Dave and I had replaced our shads for some lively mackerel and sent them down on the next drift.
Dave hooked up on the first go through and by the bend in his rod it looked like a better fish!

Second drift through with the live mackerel and mine got hit hard, again - another good fish into double figures...

We had a great day catching plenty of fish and drinking tea! The live mackerel definitely seem to pick out the bigger Pollack - a tactic I shall be deploying next time too!
Cheers Rob for another great day.
