Anual Flounder Bash

Dave and I usually dedicate a shore session for the rare and illusive Solent flounder at the start of the new year just to tick the species off the list. Each year it seems to be getting harder and harder to winkle one out without dedicating more than one session at them.
Planned in the week we decided on a short one today....venue carefully thought out as we were aware there was a comp or two on today.
In short...very quiet but lovely weather and a very welcome little flapper!....all 13oz of him!

With a kiss on the lips I slid it back.......funny how pleasing such a simple little fish can be when they are so few and far between!
