As Good As It Gets...

The forecast stayed as predicted, so both Dave and I took advantage of a day off work to chaise down the plaice.  
What can I say.....it was mental fishing!. Between the two of us we had no less than 156 plaice. A lot of small ones but a few good ones thrown in too. Dave ended the day with a personal best fish of 6lb 3oz while the biggest I could find was 3oz shy of 5lb.....

 
Also managed to snare a few starfish!!!

Most of the fish found their way back to the bottom with just a few of the better ones finding their way into the cool box instead - it doesn't get much better than that!
