Good For The Sole

Solent side in my boat this evening for a go at the sole. Bit of wind forecast but we planned to tuck in close out the way of it and have 3 hours in the dark.
Ian joined Dave and myself and it wasn't long before we were anchored up and chucking out light rods and worm baits.
Lots of small pout and baby hounds came to the worm baits throughout the flood tide until eventually the target species began to make an appearance.
The first of 5 boosted team morale and seemed to spur Dave and Ian into fishing a bit harder!

The next 2 fish came out 5 minutes apart.....they were down there!

Even Ian got in on the action with a little slip!

Dave followed with one a bit smaller and before we knew it, it was time to shoot back. Nice to target something a bit different for a change.....
