7 UP

Well this is hard enough to talk about, let alone write about! 
We took a day off work today for a good go at the cod and what a day it was with 7 cod coming to the net. The only problem was the fact that I was was the one doing all the netting - yes I took a royal fucking beating of 7 cod to nil. 
I'll be the first to admit that 'frustrated' was an understatement and towards the last half of the day there wasn't a lot of conversation on board!
There were a mix of sizes with 4 or 5 sub 10 pounders and a couple of better ones to 16lb 8oz.


This one had a bit of a kinked tail going on..... chunky old fish though so can't have been an issue for it.


Plenty of filleting tonight.......


Mike and Olly found a few too, Mike's best falling just short of 20lb. I need to get my mojo back, keep calm and sort it out before they disappear for another year!!
