Making The Most Of The Light Evenings.....

We planned a short midweek evening trip today to fish with lures until it got too dark and after inviting himself along, we were joined by good friend and NOVICE angler Jon Kirby!
With the ebb tide pretty much underway we were too late to have anymore than one drift on the flatfish....but apparently, that's all Jon needed!

A quick couple of photos of Jon and his fine brace of plaice, then off to find some bass and pollack.....and that is exactly what we did - right up until it was almost dark!

Loving the weather we have had this year - lets hope it continues!
